Fire hazards pose a significant risk to rolling stock systems and passenger safety, making strict compliance with fire safety standards essential. Every material used in a rail vehicle, whether seat upholstery, coatings, cables, or fixings, must meet rigorous fire safety requirements. Extensive testing and independent validation play a crucial role in maintaining safety and ensuring compliance.

DB ESG provides in-house fire safety expertise, supporting OEMs, rolling stock refurbishers, and fleet operators with fire performance testing, assessments, and approvals. Our Fire Performance Specialist provides clients with the assurance that every component meets industry standards before installation.
